Saddlebrook is fortunate to have Dr. Nick Hall on staff, particularly during these uncertain times. Nick Hall, Ph. D. is a medical scientist and professional speaker, who for over 20 years has conducted groundbreaking studies linking mind and body. This research has been published in over 150 periodicals and featured by the national and international media, including CBS’ 60 minutes, and the BBC’s Nova series among others. Nick is no stranger, as well, to the more pragmatic aspects of dealing with change and with making difficult choices. After earning his way through college wrestling alligators and milking rattlesnakes, he worked as an intelligence-operative for the U.S. Government. He also led a National Geographic-sponsored expedition to the West Indies, where he studied mass-stranding behavior in whales. Most recently, he completed WaterTribe’s Ultimate Florida Challenge in a sea-kayak. This 1,200 mile nautical race, which included a 40 mile portage, has been described by the Times of London as “the most dangerous small boat race in the world.”

At Saddlebrook, Dr. Hall presents keynotes, leads seminars and designs custom team building to handle stress, improve health and achieve performance driven goals with offerings as shown below:

STRESS -
Stress is impacting the bottom line like never before. Pessimism, angry outbursts, and stress induced fatigue are impacting the health of both the individual and the company they work for. It doesn’t have to be that way. Saddlebrook has drawn upon some truly unique resources to help you and your team members enjoy optimal health during uncertain times. Saddlebrook is affiliated with the University of South Florida, where cutting edge research dealing with the mind and body is being conducted. Furthermore, Dr. Hall, who organizes our programs has literally written the book on the subject. He speaks around the globe on stress, health and performance, but the best programs are offered at his Saddlebrook headquarters.

OPTIMAL HEALTH:
Personal Coaching:
For individuals and small groups in any setting. Scheduled in one hour increments with total time dependent upon amount of content. Food and mood, pain reducing diets,healthy sleep, optimal immunity, personality and health, managing stress, dealing with difficult people.

Seminars and Keynotes: For any group size. 30 minutes to 6 hours depending upon content. Any of the above topics can be offered as a free-standing presentation or combined in whatever manner is desired.

Experiential Programs: For any group size.
Managing Stress: Utilizing the facilities on the 5 acre Executive Challenge Course, people wear heart-rate monitors and learn what their stress-threshold is. They then experience some simple exercise techniques that will enable them to rapidly recover when stress happens. Four hours for up to 60 people. All day.

Food and Mood: Learn to cook meals using recipes capable of impacting your mood, alertness, and sensitivity to pain under the guidance of the Saddlebrook Chefs.
